How to set Account Codes & References in Command Centre
If you're using third-party monitoring software, it's important to ensure the account code in Command Centre has been set in order to receive signals from the device. These codes help uniquely identify each device - and its partitions - for accurate signal routing and tracking.
Follow the steps below to set or update account codes:
Setting the Main Account Code
Go to the Devices page in Command Centre
Enter the device’s serial number in the search bar
In the Account section next to the serial number, click the pencil icon
In the Edit Account Details popup
Click Save to apply the changes
Setting separate partition Account Codes
Go to the Devices page in Command Centre
Enter the device’s serial number in the search bar
In the Account section next to the serial number, click the pencil icon
Scroll to the Account Codes for Partitions section
Enter a code for each partition as needed
Extra Tips
Use consistent codes across Command Centre and your monitoring software to avoid mismatches.
Partition codes are optional but useful if you're monitoring different areas separately (e.g., warehouse vs. office).
Always double-check your entries before saving to prevent signal routing errors.
The account code will appear red should there be a clash of numbers that have been set.
