How to set up a Partner Affiliation

Important:

  • A partner must be registered with Olarm and hold a valid Monitoring or Installer role to be affiliated

  • Only affiliated partners can be assigned roles on a claimed device

  • You can remove an affiliation at any time if the business relationship ends

  • Each partner is assigned a unique Partner Code found in Settings>Overview tab

Steps to setting up a Partner Affiliation:

  1. Go to the Settings tab in the Command Centre.

  2. Navigate to the Partner Affiliations section.

  3. Choose one of the following options:

    • Share your Partner Code with the company you want to affiliate with

    • Or Request their Partner Code and enter it in the field provided

  4. Send the affiliation request. The partner will receive an email and a notification inside their Olarm Command Centre.

The affiliation becomes active when the request has been accepted. Then assign each other device roles based on respective responsibilities.

Common Use Case Example:

You’re an installer based in the UK and have a monitoring partner who handles all alarms signals from your customers. You affiliate with them using their Partner Code. Once affiliated, you can claim the device, assign them the “Monitor” role, and let them receive signals while you manage the hardware.
