How to Assign or Edit Device Roles

Assign monitoring, installation, or billing (subscription) roles to yourself or an affiliated partner after a device has been claimed.

  1. Go to the claimed device’s detail page.

  2. Scroll to the “Device Roles” section.

  3. Click Manage next to the role you want to assign

    1. Monitor

    2. Installer

    3. Billing

  4. Select an affiliated partner from the dropdown.

    1. They must accept the role in their Command Centre for it to activate.

  5. Alternatively, remove your role from the device.

Assigned roles can only be removed by Olarm Support.
