Downloading and setting up Olarm Remote Connect

Olarm Remote Connect is a tool that allows you to use your Upload & Download (UDL) software remotely.

Note: Olarm Remote Connect:

1. Works on Windows PC/Laptops only
   
2. Requires the serial port redirector software found in the next article
   
3. Is the replacement of Olarm's "DeddyWare" software
   
4. Version 2.02 is required to support UDL through Olarm MAX & Olarm PRO
   
1. The older DeddyWare software only supports UDL via Olarm PRO

1. Install Olarm Remote Connect by downloading the latest version

2. Once installed, open Olarm Remote Connect 

1. The following screen will open 

3.  To remotely connect to the supported alarm system, you will need to connect to the Olarm device first.

1. Open your Olarm Command Centre and navigate to the device you wish to connect to.
   
2. Select the "Remote Programming" tab on the left-side and click Generate
   
3. Copy the code that was generated.
   

4. Return to the Olarm Remote Connect screen

1. Paste the code that was generated in Command Centre
   
2. Click on "Connect" to start the virtual session
   

5. Open the respective alarm systems supported Upload & Download (UDL) software

Note: You will need to download the alarm system's respective UDL software from the manufacture's website
