Connecting to a IDS alarm system using Olarm Remote Connect

Olarm Remote Connect is a tool that allows you to use your Upload & Download (UDL) software remotely via the Olarm MAX or Olarm PRO.

  1. Open Olarm Remote Connect, you will get the following screen

    1. Generate a code a remote programming code in Olarm Command Centre and copy the code

    1. Paste the code in Olarm Remote Connect, and then click on Connect


    1. Open IDS Swift 2
    2. Click New to set up a new Client Account or click Open for an Existing Client Account

    1. Make sure you have the Panel Firmware and Installer code and fill in all the Mandatory Fields
      1. Account Ref:
      2. Client Name:
      3. Panel Type
      4. Firmware Version
      5. Hardware Version
      6. Installer Code
      7. Download Code
      8. Default Connection

    1. Click OK
    2. Click Connect

    1. Select COM60 and click Connect again


    1. Once you have finished Programming click Disconnect
