Connecting to a Texecom alarm system using Olarm Remote Connect

Olarm Remote Connect is a tool that allows you to use your Upload & Download (UDL) software remotely via the Olarm MAX or Olarm PRO.

Note: You will also need to set up serial redirect software, please click on the how to guide below.

  1. Open Olarm Remote Connect, you will get the following screen

  1. To connect to the Olarm, head over to your command Center and click Generate

  1. This code and then be copied and pasted into Olarm Remote Connect, then click on Connect


  1. Open Wintex
  2. Click on Setup (First-time Setup)

  1. Click on PC-Com and Select COM64 in the dropdown menu and click OK

  1. Click on New

  1. Under Customer Details
  2. Fill in the Mandatory Field
    1. File Name:
    2. Account Ref:
    3. Name:

  1. Tap on Panel Details
  2. Make sure you have the Panel Firmware
  3. Fill in the Mandatory Field
    1. Panel Type:
    2. Software Version:
    3. UDS Password: (Should be 1234)
  4. Click OK
  1. Click Connect
  2. Select: COM64
  1. Once you have finished Programming click Disconnect
