How to switch an Olarm device to a different Monitoring Company
If you’d like to change the Armed Response company monitoring your Olarm device, here’s what you need to know:
Step 1: Contact your current Monitoring Company
Ask them to release your Olarm device from their system. Only they can do this — Olarm cannot release devices on your behalf.
Step 2: Wait for confirmation
Once your current monitoring company confirms the release, your device will be free to connect to a new provider.
Step 3: Have your new Monitoring Company claim your device
Your new monitoring company will then need to claim your Olarm device on their system to begin monitoring it.
You’ll need to provide your device serial number, found on the back of your Olarm or in the Olarm APP. Check out these articles to find your device's serial number:
