Understanding Stay/Part/Night arming in the Olarm APP
Olarm supports many different alarm panel brands. Each brand uses its own terms for partial arming/setting - the feature that allows you to arm only certain zones while leaving others disarmed or unset
Depending on your alarm system, you may see options such as:
These modes work differently between alarm brands, but the goal is the same: allow you to stay inside certain areas while keeping others secure.
How Partial Arming Works
Arm - All zones are armed.
Partial Arm (Stay / Part / Night) - Only selected zones are armed. The choice of zones is set up by your alarm installer.
Disarm – No zones are armed.
Examples of when to use Partial Arming
At night - Perimeter zones active while you move freely inside.
When working in one section - One area armed while another remains disarmed.
When people are inside - Internal sensors off but doors and windows armed.
Extra tips
Your installer defines which zones are included in each partial arming mode. It is not a feature setup in the Olarm APP for Olarm MAX/PRO/PRO4G devices.
You can select available arming modes directly from the Olarm APP.
