Troubleshooting an Olarm MAX installation on DSC PowerSeries Neo Alarm Systems

Olarm MAX not automatically detecting the DSC NEO

The Olarm MAX does not automatically detect the DSC NEO automatically as expected.
This may be due to incorrect programming.
- Ensure you have correctly programmed the DSC NEO panel according to the installation steps.
- Ensure you have Connected the 4-pin connector to the Olarm Adapter board and plug that into PC Link 2.
- Ensure you have successfully rebooted the DSC Panel following programming.
- Ensure you have installed Firmware v1.6 and higher on the Olarm MAX that allows for the automatic
- The Firmware can be updated via the mobile device settings page within the Olarm App or via the Command Center.
FTC (Failure to Communicate) - Default phone number incorrectly set on Receiver 4

After resetting the DSC NEO panel to factory settings, you may encounter an FTC error on Receiver 4.
This is usually because the values set to Receiver 4 by default are incorrectly set by the DSC NEO alarm system.
Access Installer Menu
- Enter the installer menu by entering the installer code (default:
*8 5555
).
Update Receiver 4 Phone Number Programming
- Enter location "301" and press * to access Phone Number Programming.
- Enter location "004" and press * to set the correct default phone number required for Receiver 4.
- Set Receiver 4 to the following:
- FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
- FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
- Press # to exit HEX programming, the ‘Ready’ LED will return to solid
- Reboot the System
- Power down and restart the DSC NEO panel and the Olarm MAX.
These steps should resolve the FTC issue on Receiver 4.

To enter the required HEX data in location Receiver 04, from digits
to letters, please press * following by the relevant number to set the corresponding letter required:
1 = A
2 = B
3 = C
4 = D
5 = E
6 = F
DLS via remote connect currently not supported

Please note that DLS via Remote Connect is coming soon.

In the Olarm Mobile app, I am able to see my areas but the sleep button is missing.
Please ensure you have latest version of the Olarm Mobile application installed.
Sleep support is available for versions greater than v1.6.1 - previous versions of the mobile app has limited DSC NEO functionality.
