Troubleshooting an Olarm MAX installation on Texecom Elite Alarm Systems

Ensure correct UDL code is entered in the Olarm APP

Make sure the UDL code entered in the Olarm APP matches the one set on the panel.


Can’t arm or disarm the alarm via the Olarm APP

If the Olarm APP is unable to arm or disarm the system:

Remote arm/disarm permissions: Confirm that “Remote Arm” and “Remote Disarm” are enabled for all required areas in the panel programming.

To enable this:

  • Enter the Engineer’s code (default 1234)

  • If prompted that a user must grant access, enter a valid user code, then retry

  • Navigate to Area Programming from the main menu

  • Select Area Options

  • Go to Remote Disarm, press the ✕ (cross) button to edit

  • Enable the relevant partitions (e.g., press 1 for Partition 1, 2 for Partition 2)

  • Press ✓ (tick) to save

  • Navigate to Remote Arm, press the ✕ (cross) button to edit

  • Enable the relevant partitions again as required

  • Press ✓ (tick) to save

  • Press the Menu key until prompted to Exit and Logoff, then press ✓ (tick)
