Troubleshooting an Olarm MAX installation on Paradox MG/SP + Plus Alarm Systems

Firmware version compatibility

Paradox Plus panels running firmware versions below 1.1 are not compatible with Olarm MAX.

To check the firmware version:

  • Navigate to Location 980 on the alarm panel.

If the version is below 1.1, update the panel firmware before proceeding with the installation.

Can receive notifications, but can’t arm, disarm, or bypass zones via the Olarm APP

If the Olarm APP sends notifications but doesn't allow control functions:

Default credentials issue: Ensure that the master code, PC ID, and password are not still set to the factory default (1234).

To resolve:

  • Change the master code via Location 399

  • Update the new master code in the Olarm APP

Can’t see more than one partition in the Olarm APP

If additional partitions are set in the app but not visible:

Partition configuration: Ensure that the relevant partitions are enabled in the alarm panel’s programming.
