Setting up the serial port redirector software for Olarm Remote Connect

Downloading and setting up the Serial Redirect Software

  1. Install NetBurner VirtualCom by downloading the latest version on their website
    1. https://www.netburner.com/download/virtual-comm-port-driver-windows-xp-10/
  2. Once installed, open NetBurner
  3. Click on Add
    1. Enter the Connection name
    2. Select the Port to be used (COM64)
    3. Remote host name/port
      1. Enter localhost and port 9977
      2. Click Add
    4. Select RAW
    5. Click Apply
  4. Done


Troubleshooting Tips:


- If you have Windows 11 installed on your PC/Laptop and receive an error message when configuring NetBurner. Uninstall and reinstall the program and restart your PC/Laptop.
