Adjust your Provision camera's sub-stream video settings
Adjust your Provision IP camera’s sub-stream or third-stream settings by logging into the camera’s settings directly through it's IP Address and assigned camera credentials.
Adjusting these settings will impact the video quality on the other platforms used for streaming
Logging into the IP Camera with the IP Address & credentials
Should you be using the Provision’s Video Management System, adjust the sub-stream video settings in the “Function panel” tab
Navigate to “Edit camera”
Click on the “Settings” for the camera you want to edit
You may need to log into the camera itself should it be an IP camera on an NVR
Navigate to the “Config” tab
Click on “Image” and select the “Video/Audio” page
Adjust the sub-stream’s/third-stream’s video settings as follows:
Reduce the “Resolution” to the lowest available option
Reduce the “Frame Rate” to around 8 fps
Set the “Bitrate Type” to CBR (Constant Bitrate)
Set the “Bitrate (Kbps)” to 264 Kbps (you can adjust this higher later on)
Set the “Video Quality” to Medium or Low
Leave the “I Frame” as default which should be 12
Ensure the “Video” is set to H.264
Check that the “Audio” settings are disable
