Connecting the Super Capacitor on the Olarm MAX
If your Olarm MAX device includes a super capacitor, it is essential to connect it correctly to ensure proper backup power functionality.
To install the super capacitor:
Locate the JST Plug
On the rear side of the Olarm MAX device, you will find a JST connector designed specifically for the super capacitor.Connect the Super Capacitor
Insert the plug from the super capacitor into the JST connector. Ensure it is firmly connected to avoid intermittent power support.Place the Capacitor in the Internal Power Supply Compartment
Once connected, securely place the super capacitor inside the internal power supply compartment, as illustrated in the diagram provided with the device.
This setup enables the Olarm MAX to maintain power temporarily, protecting against unexpected power interruptions such as an intruder cutting power to the communicator.
