Not receiving alarm notifications on a Samsung
To ensure you receive alerts from the Olarm APP on your Samsung device, verify that Push Notifications are correctly set up both within the app and your phone’s system settings.
Step 1: Check in the Olarm APP
Step 2: Check in Samsung phone settings
Open Settings on your Samsung device
Tap Apps
Find and select Olarm from the app list
Tap Notifications
Ensure notifications are enabled
Step 3: Clear Cache and Data (if notifications still fail)
Open Settings on your Samsung device
Tap Apps
Tap Storage
Tap Clear Cache
Tap Clear Data
Return to Notifications and confirm they are still enabled
Open the Olarm APP and sign back in to your account
Extra Tips
Make sure Do Not Disturb mode is turned off
Confirm that Olarm is not restricted under Battery Optimisation settings
Test notifications after each step by triggering a system event (e.g., arming/disarming)
