To ensure you receive alerts from the Olarm APP on your Huawei device, verify that Push Notifications are enabled both in the app and in your device settings.

Step 1: Check in the Olarm APP 

• Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top-right corner

• Select App Permissions

• Confirm that Push Notifications are enabled
  
  

Step 2: Check in Huawei Phone Settings

• Open your Hauwei device Settings

• Tap Apps

• Find and select Olarm in the list

• Tap Notifications

• Ensure all notification options are enabled
  
  

Step 3: Clear Cache and Data (if notifications still do not work)

• Open your Hauwei device Settings

• Tap Apps

• Select Storage

• Tap Clear Cache

• Tap Clear Data

• Return to Notifications and ensure they are still enabled
  
  

Extra Tips

• Make sure Do Not Disturb mode is turned off

• Confirm that Olarm is not restricted under Battery Optimisation settings

• Test notifications after each step by triggering a system event (e.g., arming/disarming)
