Installation Requirements

Ensure that locations 910 & 911 (PC ID and Password) are set to the default values of 1234 or 0000. In most cases, these settings should already be configured correctly unless they were previously modified by an installer.

Step 1: Connecting the Olarm MAX

Before connecting the Olarm MAX, power down your alarm system.

Plug the 4-pin side of the reversible peripheral cable to the Serial port on your Paradox MG/SP Alarm Panel.

Cut and strip the 5-pin side of the cable. Wire this end of the cable into the terminals found on the back of the Olarm MAX.

• Red to + (Positive)

• Black to GND

• Yellow to SERIAL 1

• Green to SERIAL 2
  

Step 2: Power up

Once you have powered up your Paradox EV0192 alarm system, and have added it to the Olarm APP. Check/Test the functionality of the Olarm APP.
