The OIarm MAX will provide full app functionality but limited monitoring functionality:
Reporting of AC Loss/Restore troubles only
What is required:
Open PGM terminal required for AC Trouble reporting
Wiring needed from a PGM to IO Port 1 on Olarm MAX
The IDS 805 needs to be programmed for AC Fail reporting to both the user app and the monitoring control room. Follow the below programming:
Enter the installer code followed by a [*]
The default installer code is [9999] or [999999]
If these do not work, please contact the alarm installer who installed / manages the alarm system
From the installer menu, enter the location code [27] followed by [*]
Enter the value [14] to set PGM 4 low for AC Fail followed by [*]
Then enter the location code [30] followed by [*]
Enter the value [9] to set PGM 4 high for AC Restore followed by [*]
Press [#] button 2 to 3 times until you hear 4 to 5 beeps from the keypad, this will take you out of the installer menu
Note: Visit the IDS 805 installer menu should a different Programmable Output (PGM) be used. Ensure that you set the chosen PGM to LOW when there is an AC Fail, and HIGH when the AC Restores.
Before connecting the Olarm MAX, power down your alarm system.
Cut and strip the 5-pin side of the reversible peripheral cable. Wire this end to the alarm panels keypad terminals.
Red to +
Green to D
Yellow to C
Black to -
Cut and strip the 4-pin side of the cable. Wire this end of the cable into the terminals found on the back of the Olarm MAX.
Red to + (Positive)
Black to GND
Yellow to SERIAL 1
Green to SERIAL 2
Wire a separate cable from IO Port 1 on the Olarm MAX to the PGM you programmed for AC Reporting.
Once you have powered up your IDS 805 alarm system, and have added it to the Olarm APP. You will be prompted to enter the Master/User code in the app.
