How to install TP Link Camera

This is your help guide to install your TP-Link camera.

Please note: this guide is specific to using the Tapo C200 but should be applicable to other similar cameras in the range.

Install process

Please ensure your MAX wifi is on the same network as your camera
  1. Download and setup your camera app as per manufacturer instructions.
  2. Navigate to camera on the app
  3. Select settings/Advanced settings
    1. setup camera account
    2. Create new
    3. Agree to terms if you wish
    4. Add a username and password
  4. Select advanced settings/network setup
    1. enable static IP
    2. take note of the IP address (screenshot)
    3. Save
  5. Open the Olarm app and follow the instructions to link a camera
    1. Select menu / Device setup
    2. Select Linked Cameras / Add Camera
      1. Name the camera as you wish (suggest Zone name - Camera view description)
      2. IP Address (as per step 4 above)
      3. Port: 554
      4. Live stream path: /stream2
      5. Username: ********
      6. Password ********
      7. Playback: Enabled
    3. Test Connection
    4. Save
