How to identify the Primary User of a device in the Olarm APP
In the Olarm APP, each device has a Primary User who has full control over its settings and management. If you are a Secondary User, you can easily see who the Primary User is. This is useful if you need to request changes, transfer ownership, or troubleshoot permission issues.
Steps to identify the Primary User
Open the Olarm APP
Tap the Menu icon (≡) in the top-right corner
Scroll to the bottom of the menu
Look for the Access section
The text will display "You have been granted access by" followed by the Primary User’s name.
What to do next
If you need to be made the Primary User, contact the person listed under "Access".
If you don’t know this person or cannot reach them, contact your Alarm Receiving Centre for assistance.
Extra tips
Only the Primary User can transfer device ownership or make certain settings changes.
Being a Secondary User allows you to view and use the device but with limited control.
Keep Primary User details up to date to avoid delays in making changes.
