How to Identify if Your Device is 2G

How to Identify if Your Device is 2G

Introduction

Some Olarm devices are compatible only with 2G networks. Knowing whether your device is 2G helps check compatibility or troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check the device generation

  • All Gen 1 Devices are 2G devices. (Small square device)

  1. Check the device cover

  • If your device is an Olarm PRO Device and the cover only displays Olarm PRO, it is a 2G device.

  • If other labels appear on the cover (for example, PRO+ or later versions), it is not limited to 2G.

Extra Tips

  • If you are unsure, you can also confirm the model by opening the Olarm APP and navigating to View Profile > Devices.

  • Contact Olarm Support if your device cover is unclear or damaged.
