How to connect your Olarm MAX to Wi-Fi using WPS mode
You can connect your Olarm device to a local Wi-Fi network using the WPS method. This process allows for quick, password-free setup using your router’s WPS button.
Access to the back of your Olarm device
A local Wi-Fi network within range
A router with a WPS button
Step 1: Activate WPS pairing on the Olarm device
Locate the Fn button on the back of your Olarm device.
Press and hold the Fn button.
Continue holding until the device flashes yellow (approximately 5 seconds).
Release the button – your Olarm device is now in pairing mode and ready to connect.
Step 2: Activate WPS on your Wi-Fi router
Press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router immediately after starting the Olarm’s pairing process.
The Olarm device will attempt to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Confirm Successful Connection
Once connected, your Olarm device will either:
Flash blue
Or show a solid blue light
This confirms a successful Wi-Fi connection.
Extra Tips
Keep the Olarm device within range of the router during setup.
If pairing fails, restart the router and repeat the steps.
Some routers may require WPS to be enabled via router settings before pressing the physical button.
