How to connect your Olarm MAX to Wi-Fi using WPS mode

You can connect your Olarm device to a local Wi-Fi network using the WPS method. This process allows for quick, password-free setup using your router’s WPS button.

Notes
Requirements
  • Access to the back of your Olarm device

  • A local Wi-Fi network within range

  • A router with a WPS button

Step 1: Activate WPS pairing on the Olarm device

  • Locate the Fn button on the back of your Olarm device.

  • Press and hold the Fn button.

  • Continue holding until the device flashes yellow (approximately 5 seconds).

  • Release the button – your Olarm device is now in pairing mode and ready to connect.

Step 2: Activate WPS on your Wi-Fi router

  • Press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router immediately after starting the Olarm’s pairing process.

  • The Olarm device will attempt to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Step 3: Confirm Successful Connection

Once connected, your Olarm device will either:

  • Flash blue

  • Or show a solid blue light

This confirms a successful Wi-Fi connection.


Extra Tips

  • Keep the Olarm device within range of the router during setup.

  • If pairing fails, restart the router and repeat the steps.

  • Some routers may require WPS to be enabled via router settings before pressing the physical button.
