How to install an EZVIZ Camera

How to install an EZVIZ camera.

Please note: this guide is specific to using the EZVIZ C8C but should be applicable to other similar cameras in the range.

Please ensure your MAX wifi is on the same network as your camera

Configure App settings

1. Open the EZVIZ app
   
2. Select menu (top left) and select settings
   
3. Select LAN view Live
   
1. start scanning
   
2. take note of and write down the camera IP address
   
3. select the camera to open the camera feed
   
4. Select settings icon (top right)
   
5. Select local service settings
   
1. Enable RTSP
   
2. Save and agree to terms
   

Configure Camera settings

Please note: You will require a Windows computer

1. Download and install EZVIZ studio
   
2. Navigate to program files/ezvizstudio
   
1. Open the config file
   
2. open app config
   
3. Navigate to the bottom of the text
4. Type [LocalOperation] and press enter to go to line below.
   
5. Type Show=1
   
6. Save
3. Open EZVIZ studio
   
4. Login to your account (same as app)
   
5. Select all devices
   
6. Navigate to Advanced, for the relevant camera
   
1. On the side TAB, navigate to image
   
2. Adjust:
   
1. Stream Type: substream
   
2. Bitrate Type: Constant
   
3. Video Quality: Lower (you can adjust this by changing bitrate type to variable)
   
4. Frame type: P
   
5. iframe interval: 40 - 60
   
6. video encoding type: STD_h264
   
7. Video type: video
   
8. Bitrate: 256kbps
   
9. Resolution: CIF(352*288)
   
10. Frame rate: 6fps
    
11. video encoding: medium
    
3. Apply (Don't expect any confirmation)
   
4. Close the window
