Can you still use DeddyWare instead of REMOTE CONNECT

Olarm's REMOTE CONNECT software replaces the older DeddyWare tool for configuring and managing devices via UDL. While DeddyWare may still function in limited cases, it is no longer recommended for current or future setups.

  1. Check your device compatibility

    • DeddyWare only supports UDL via Olarm PRO/PRO 4G.

    • It does not support UDL via Olarm MAX.

  2. Verify your software version

    • REMOTE CONNECT version 2.02 or higher is required to support UDL through both Olarm PRO/PRO 4G and Olarm MAX.

    • If you're using Olarm MAX, you must use REMOTE CONNECT.

  3. Avoid using DeddyWare for new setups

    • DeddyWare is outdated and does not receive updates or support.

    • REMOTE CONNECT ensures full compatibility with current Olarm hardware.
